Damlo is currently a one human operation, a passion project you might say, by me, Daniel. I became fascinated with the properties of herbs when looking for an alternative to tobacco for smoking. Initial research online brought to the world of herbal enthusiasts sharing a passion for the powers that they bring. Not only do many herbs have massive healing potential due to the complex combinations of beneficial compounds, they have been of significant spiritual importance to our ancestors from around the globe. Before western healing, our shamans, witch doctors and elders have been aware of the hidden power of the plants that surround us. My personal interest in our ancestral ways as well as fascination for chemistry and the complexity of biology have brought me to this point where I have started my own online herbal apothecary.

I first started sharing my herbal mixes in bags with hand drawn artworks with friends and refined the ingredients to perfect a balanced flavour with visual appealing colours and a smooth smoking (or vaping) experience. The herbs are also very pleasant as a tea or even seeped in wine. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions on how to benefit the herbal mixture. Disclaimer: A smooth smoke does not mean it is healthy to smoke; smoke from any kind of organic material contains small amounts of toxic compounds. Use sparingly. 

In the near future, I aim to add different herbal mixtures as well as concentrated tinctures to my shop. Using my chemical skills (I am a chemist and researcher by profession) I plan to extract medicinal components from these healing plants and make them available to you in concentrated droplets.
